The District recruits Substitute Custodians through EdJoin, word-of-mouth to friends/family/neighbors, through social media, and by advertising with local cleaning supply vendors. Interested individuals must apply via EdJoin. Human Resources Department staff schedule interested individuals to attend a mandatory Substitute Custodian Training session conducted by the Custodial Operations Supervisor; these sessions are conducted monthly. Once an individual has successfully completed a Substitute Custodian Training session, they may be contacted by Human Resources to serve as a Substitute Custodian.
